Story: Goga and Kamal fall in love in college and want to marry each other after a few years. However, Kamal's grandmother turns against this alliance after a quarrel with Goga's mother. With the two women turning bitterly against each other, Goga and Kamal's love story seems unlikely to lead to marriage. In desperation, Goga once wishes for Dadi's death, to help Kamal clear his path. Her wish came true, and the grandmother died. However, just as Goga begins to celebrate clearing his path, Dadi's apparitions begin to appear to Goga, scaring him. Goga approaches a father for a remedy, who advises him to call upon the ghost of his late grandfather for help and to meet the ghost of Kamal's grandmother. The story ends after the demons are appeased by the family members fulfilling their wishes and Kamal's grandmother agreeing to the alliance.

Review: A small town couple, Goga and Kamal (Harish Verma and Simi Chahal) are keen to get married However, both have a warring lady in their house, Kamal's sharp-tongued grandmother (played by Yatinder Kaur) and Goga's aggressive mother (Anita Devgan). On the day Goga and Kamal meet their parents, the two women have a fight. This spells misery for Goga and the two families turn sharply against each other, making it impossible to realize her marriage plans with Kamal.

Most of the comedy in the film comes from this rivalry between Goga and Kamal's grandmother. Harish Verma and Simi Chahal are believable as lovebirds from their college days, who are trying hard to convince their families for their alliance. Harish plays an intense protagonist who is haunted by Kamal's grandmother who returns to haunt his wedding plans as a scene after her death. Although the film is a comedy, there is enough romantic chemistry between Harish and Simi, which makes it an interesting watch. Simmi, who has a long history of pairing up with Harish, is appealing as a naïve young lady.

However, the film lacks enough punch to qualify as an out-and-out comedy. Most of the film's lighter moments come from the story and distractions, not so much from the dialogues.

The film's veteran actors, Jatinder Kaur and BN Sharma, who play the ghosts of the two grandparents, are the strong pillars of the plot. At the climax, the story hinges on them as it unfolds a social message of caring for family elders and respecting their wishes. Dheeraj Kumar, who plays Harish's friend, is described as a bankable accomplice who drives the story forward.

The film is well directed and there are no loose ends in terms of editing or screenplay. The music is bland, though won't go down as memorable.
