Story: The title Tufang derives from the Persian language, meaning a long-barreled firing gun. While Arjun Randhawa (Guri) and Rukshar Dhillon (Gobhar) share a deep chemistry onscreen, Jagjit Sandhu's acting prowess is evident, he gets into the skin of his character in the film-- Mouser Singh Brar. He essays a negative character and is Gudi's onscreen brother-in-law. It begins with a gun stolen from a gun shop run by Guri and his grandfather. In his quest to find the culprit, Guri goes a long way, eventually discovering more than just a simple case of shoplifting. Thrills and suspense continue as director Dheeraj Kedarnath Ratan and screenwriter Manila Ratan weave a web of suspense with Gurpreet Bhullar's dialogues, complemented by the film's action director Sham Kaushal.
The film revolves around Guri, Jagjit and Rukshar. The film also has a strong message of using weapons only to eradicate crime and stand for truth. It shows how a naive person falls into the trap of boys, who lure her for marriage.
Review: This film sees the transformation of Gouri in terms of his acting skills. From a common man running a gunhouse to being charged with murder, Guri has proved that no role is too difficult for him. Ruksha also does justice to her powerful character of Deep Kaur. Jageet's performance as Mouser is commendable and his multi-tasking skills prove that he is not stuck to a certain image. Mahaveer Bhullar (Guri's filmy dada) has also done a good job. The action part is interesting and that's when the audience can enjoy the taste of competition. Karanveer Khulla and Arash Hundal's negative portrayals are impressive. Apart from thriller, action and drama, there is also romance and some comedy.

The last part of the film shows a storm of emotions. From contemplating Arjuna (Guri) standing by the cheetah, it also speaks of his longing for Guri, who, he believes, will return only after his prison term is over. The voice in the background emphasizes how some guns are not a business and a legacy. The film also highlights the education of the elders and its impact on the younger generation.
